GFW
Lawyers
GFW’s lawyers focus exclusively on litigation, advocacy, and dispute resolution. We advise clients regarding a variety of commercial disputes, whether construction or contractual matters, partnership and shareholder disputes, commercial leasing, employment law, property disputes, and other business disputes. Assisting clients with these disputes requires negotiating in our client’s best interests, having regard to the issues and the impact on our clients’ business and lives.
While business disputes benefit from business resolutions, a negotiated resolution is not always possible. Our team of lawyers has extensive experience taking matters to trial or arbitration hearings when a negotiated solution is not available. We believe that it is important to retain advocates who work to achieve your best negotiated resolution, backed up by trial experience should such a resolution not be possible.
GFW’s lawyers have represented clients at all levels of courts in Ontario, as well as various administrative tribunals, such as the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and Workplace Safety Insurance Board, Boundaries Act Tribunal, Ontario Land Tribunal, and other administrative bodies. We are also actively involved in settlement negotiations and alternate dispute resolutions.
